Today the meeting of the authors of “Digital Agenda of Ukraine – 2020” was held. Digital Agenda of Ukraine – 2020 is a document developed by a group of experts from global and domestic markets, initiated by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and Hi Tech Office Ukraine.

The Digital Agenda has played a significant role – in three years, the words “Digitization” and “Digital Transformation” began to sound in every sector of the economy and appeared on the front pages of publications. The Digital Agenda became the basis for the creation of important state documents: the “Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy and Society of Ukraine” and the “Roadmap for Ukraine’s Integration into the EU Digital Single Market”.

Now is the time to move to active action to implement specific projects. This was the key topic of discussion of the meeting participants today.

For closer cooperation with European organizations, it is proposed to create a National Digital Coalition as a basis for the development of digital skills.

Olena Chaikovska, Head of the Department of Computer Science, Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Representative of the project of EU Funding Program: European Neighborhood Instrument (Erasmus +: KA2 CBHE) “dComFra – Digital Competence Framework for Ukrainian Teachers and Other Citizens”, 598236-EPP-1-2018-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP, reported to the participants on this initiative and proposed to expand the list of areas of the Coalition for effective cooperation for the digital transformation of Ukraine.
