On 9-12 September 2019 the trainings for dComFra Ukrainian partners were organized in Bucharest, Romania, by the researchers of the University Politechnica of Bucharest, CAMIS Centre – the Centre of Excellence for Research, Development and Innovation. 23 participants representing 7 Ukrainian universities and Ukrainian Association of IT Professionals were participating.
All participants were welcome by the director of the CAMIS prof. Catalin Georghe Amza and prof. Teodora Chiceoreanu. Dr. Loredana Manasia representing the Department of Social Sciences and Teacher Education of the University presented the report on the development of virtual education and digital intelligence. Elena Dochie and Cosmin Herman presented „Moodle“ as e-learning platform widely used in Romanian universities as functional and structural online tool.
Stefan-Adrian Apateanu, the representative of Google in Romania, spoke about the certified Google e-learning platform using future classes. PhD Gabriel Lazar, the director of R&D ASCENDIA, presented the development of digital resources with LIVRESQ. Thoughts on data security issues in the modern cloud age were shared by PhD Christian Nasulea. The digital competence system in Romania was presented by PhD Veronica Chirea from EURYDICE. Irinuca Vaduva, CEO of ECDL Romania, spoke about ECDL which is the world’s largest standard for digital skills IT certification.
There was also the webinar organised with Ms. Annika Östergren Pofantis, Digital Skills and Employment Policy Officer of the European Commission, Directorate-General for Communication Networks, Content and Technology focusing on the topic – the international Code Week event. Discussion on new curricula and methods in informatics took place together with PhD Alin Moldovean, the vice-dean of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science.
Interesting study tours took place in the University’s virtual and embedded reality, robotics, aeronautical engineering, 3D printing laboratories.
The trainings were also attended by the representative of project partner – Information Technologies Institute – being responsible for monitoring the quality of the trainings.
