Seeking to improve and promote the development of digital literacy in Ukraine by adapting the digital literacy system to teachers and citizens, the trainings for Ukrainian partners were held at Krakow Pedagogical University on March 18-22, 2019.

The trainings were attended by more than 20 participants from seven Ukrainian universities and the Ukrainian Association of IT Professionals. The trainings were organized by the representatives of Krakow Pedagogical University and the Polish ECDL Foundation.

Warm welcome words were announced by the vice-rector prof. Robert Stawarz and the director of the Institute of Informatics prof. Jacek Migdalek. The presentations on the development of digital literacy in Poland were delivered by dr. Anna Stolinska and Alicja Pitula. Ph.Dr. Bernard Maj presented guidelines for the reform of informatics education in Polish secondary schools.

The webinar was organized with the director of the Polish ECDL Foundation dr. Jacek Pulwarski on the digital competence development system in Poland. The presentations and trainings on the digital competence development projects in education, IT tools and didactics were provided by the representatives of the ECDL Foundation in Krakow dr. Beata Chodacka, Anna Miniewska, Mariusz Kasprzak, Katerzyna Gardela. The report on digital competences for children, adolescents and adults, and the required standards were presented by Ph.Dr. Mateusz Muchacki.
